Project Background

Kunming Aviation Vocational College, as a key institution for cultivating aviation professionals, has established a new multifunctional auditorium as the central venue for hosting major academic events, large-scale celebrations, and daily teaching activities. The college has set exceptionally high standards for its sound reinforcement system: it must deliver outstanding speech intelligibility while also offering powerful dynamic range and impressive bass performance to accommodate diverse cultural performances and academic lectures.

HRA conducted in-depth research and developed a customized professional audio solution centered around a high-performance line array system.

Configuration Plan

To meet the auditorium's stringent requirements for sound pressure level, coverage uniformity, and audio quality, this solution employs a combination of HRA's flagship line array products to construct a well-defined, power-rich audio matrix:

    Main PA System:

The main sound reinforcement system utilizes eight SHOW-210 dual-10-inch full-range line array speakers, already featured in Germany's EASE library, paired with two SHOW-118S subwoofers. This configuration ensures exceptional sound penetration and uniform coverage, delivering crisp, clear vocals alongside layered, impactful musical reproduction. It effortlessly handles the sound pressure demands of large spaces.

Monitoring and Auxiliary Sound Reinforcement System:

Eight TCEH12M monitor speakers were specially configured to provide precise, clear on-stage feedback for presenters and performers, ensuring seamless performances and interactions. Additionally, six TCEH12 full-range speakers were deployed as fill speakers in fixed front, center, and rear zones, guaranteeing complete sound coverage with no dead spots.

    System Processing and Control:

The system core features one DM24 digital mixing console, delivering powerful signal processing capabilities and flexible control; two DLM408PLUS audio processors handle system optimization and protection.

    Power Management and Distribution:

Two CA1000.4 digital amplifiers and one CA1400 digital amplifier drive the main sound reinforcement system. Two OV800.4 digital amplifiers handle the monitor and auxiliary systems. One APS-310 power sequencer enables intelligent power management for the entire system.

Project Feedback

Following project delivery, the system underwent rigorous testing during multiple large-scale events, performing far beyond the university's expectations. A university representative stated: “HRA provided us with more than just equipment—it delivered a comprehensive acoustic solution. The entire system is user-friendly and operates with exceptional stability, fully meeting our diverse operational needs. The JINGGE team's technical expertise and dedication left a profound impression on us.”
